On August 24th, 2017 Bear Hug Honey Company opened its doors for the very first time. The owner, Sam Johnson, is a graduate of The University of Georgia with a degree in Agricultural Economics. After graduating from U.G.A. in 2006, Sam volunteered at Farmers' Markets, and from there discovered a passion for honeybees and honey. Ever since, he's been hooked on the sweet life, and has been working with honeybees, honey, and passionate beekeepers. Bear Hug Honey Company is the fruition of this long and exciting journey, and we hope you will come by soon to see us!
